Care
White Onyx is a soft calcium stone: seal it after installation, clean it with a pH-neutral stone soap, keep abrasives and acids off it, and keep it off the floor. Where it is backlit, use a cool light source so the panel never heats. How to care for natural stone →

Questions about White Onyx
What is White Onyx?
White Onyx is onyx, with a white tone. It is a banded, translucent calcium stone that glows when lit from behind. Flora Marble imports it as blocks and slabs and cuts and finishes it at its own factory at Athal, Silvassa.
Can White Onyx be used on a floor?
No; onyx is too soft for a floor. White Onyx belongs on a wall, a bar or a vanity top, and it is at its best lit from behind, where the whole slab glows.
What finishes and sizes does White Onyx come in?
White Onyx is supplied polished, as full slabs or cut-to-size panels sized for backlighting, typically 18–20 mm; other thicknesses on request. Slab sizes vary lot to lot, so we send the measurements and photographs of the actual slabs before anything is confirmed.
Where can I see White Onyx slabs?
Stocked slabs stand to be seen at the Flora Marble gallery in Vile Parle East, Mumbai, a few minutes from the airport (open mon–sat, 10 am – 7 pm); a catalogue stone is sourced to order and shown to you before you commit. Every slab is cut and polished at our own factory at Athal, Silvassa, where buyers are welcome.
Does Flora Marble deliver White Onyx to Chennai?
Yes. White Onyx leaves the Silvassa factory by road for every state in India, Chennai, Kolkata and Pune included, crated and strapped for the journey. Each city has its own page with the road distance from the factory and the Mumbai gallery and how an order from there usually runs.
How is White Onyx priced?
Per project, slab by slab: the slabs selected, their sizes, the finish and the cutting all move the figure, so there is no list price online. Send the drawings or the areas and the finish you have in mind and Flora Marble will quote the White Onyx it would select for you, with photographs of those slabs.
