Marble, quartzite or granite?
Marble gives the veining and depth nothing else matches, and it will etch if it meets lemon or vinegar — many owners embrace the patina, others choose a honed finish that hides it. Quartzite looks like marble and behaves closer to granite, which is why it has become the kitchen favourite. Granite is the hardest-wearing of the three and the least fussy.

Cut to size, from the slab you chose
Choose the slab in Vile Parle, send us the kitchen drawing, and the island, runs and splashback are cut, edged and finished at our factory in Silvassa from that slab — so the veining runs where you expected it to. Imported blocks are cut, polished and finished at our own marble-processing factory in Naroli, Silvassa, so we control quality from the block to the finished slab.
Questions we are asked
Is marble a good idea for an Indian kitchen?
It can be, with honest expectations: marble etches with acids and needs sealing, so it suits owners who like a lived-in surface or who choose a honed finish. For a hard-working kitchen, quartzite or granite give a similar look with far less care.
What is quartzite and why is it recommended for kitchens?
A natural stone that looks like marble — veined, luminous — but is harder and more acid-resistant, so it takes daily kitchen use with less worry. It is not the same as engineered quartz.
Do you cut counters to size?
Yes. Send us the kitchen drawing and the pieces are cut, edged and finished at our own factory from the slab you selected.
