Floors need consistency more than drama: a lot of slabs that read as one surface. Calmer whites, beiges and greys with even movement suit whole-home floors; the boldly veined stones are better kept for a feature wall or an island, where their variation is the point.
A honed finish is kinder to a floor than a high polish — it hides scratches and etching from a dropped lime, and it is less slippery when wet, which matters in a Mumbai monsoon.
From one block run, finished in-house
Because we select blocks at the quarry and finish them ourselves in Silvassa, we can supply a floor from a single block run, so the colour and movement stay consistent from the entrance to the last bedroom. Our gallery is in the Main Marble Market on the Western Express Highway service road, Vile Parle East — near Hotel Sahara Star and the Domestic Airport signal. Open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM.
