Finishes and formats

Sinai Pearl is supplied honed as standard, brushed or lightly polished on request, as full slabs, cut-to-size, book-matched pairs, typically 18–20 mm; other thicknesses on request. Polished, honed or leathered →

Care

Sinai Pearl is a calcium stone: seal it after installation and again every year or two, clean it with a pH-neutral stone soap, and wipe up lemon, vinegar and wine rather than leaving them to etch the polish. A honed finish shows etching least. How to care for natural stone →

Questions about Sinai Pearl

What is Sinai Pearl?

Sinai Pearl is limestone from Egypt, with a beige tone. It is a sedimentary stone, softer underfoot and quieter than marble, best honed. Flora Marble imports it as blocks and slabs and cuts and finishes it at its own factory at Athal, Silvassa.

Is Sinai Pearl suitable for flooring?

Yes, honed, in a living room, bedroom or bathroom; it is softer and quieter underfoot than marble. For a busy lobby or a kitchen floor we would suggest a harder stone.

What finishes and sizes does Sinai Pearl come in?

Sinai Pearl is supplied honed as standard, brushed or lightly polished on request, as full slabs, cut-to-size, book-matched pairs, typically 18–20 mm; other thicknesses on request. Slab sizes vary lot to lot, so we send the measurements and photographs of the actual slabs before anything is confirmed.

Where can I see Sinai Pearl slabs?

Stocked slabs stand to be seen at the Flora Marble gallery in Vile Parle East, Mumbai, a few minutes from the airport (open mon–sat, 10 am – 7 pm); a catalogue stone is sourced to order and shown to you before you commit. Every slab is cut and polished at our own factory at Athal, Silvassa, where buyers are welcome.

Does Flora Marble deliver Sinai Pearl to Delhi?

Yes. Sinai Pearl leaves the Silvassa factory by road for every state in India, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad included, crated and strapped for the journey. Each city has its own page with the road distance from the factory and the Mumbai gallery and how an order from there usually runs.

How is Sinai Pearl priced?

Per project, slab by slab: the slabs selected, their sizes, the finish and the cutting all move the figure, so there is no list price online. Send the drawings or the areas and the finish you have in mind and Flora Marble will quote the Sinai Pearl it would select for you, with photographs of those slabs.
